The Amalfi coast is a region in the South of Italy (Campania region). It's a stretch of coastline at the south of the Sorrentine Peninsula (Province of Salerno) that goes from Positano to Vietri sul Mare. It's a typical Mediterranean region listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Tourists like to call it as "A wonderful pearl rich of history, culture and gastronomical traditions".
The towns lying on the Amalfi Coast are mostly fishing sea-villages.

Weather
The Amalfi Coast enjoys a climate that is among the mildest in Italy. The temperature falls between 10°C (50°F) in winter and 31°C (90°F) in summer.
How to get there and move around
- The simplest way to get in the Amalfi coast is by Airplane. The nearest airport is Naples Capodichino [#].
- From Rome the best way to get ther is by train [To Naples or to Salerno ]
