The Abruzzi region is the richest natural parks area of Italy. It's in the central Italy, 70 miles east of Rome.

The Main attraction of Abruzzi are mountains. Great during winter periods…but awesome during sprint, summer and autumn.

The National park of Abruzzi is the most ancient among the Parks of the Apennine mountains.

The park is a great example of sustainable tourism.

  • It's a summer and winter resort and headquarter of the Abruzzo National Park.
  • The main sight to visit in the town is the Abbey of Sts. Peter and Paul, founded around 1100.
